Hypnosis for Chronic Pain

We live in a society fraught with disease, stress and anxiety and as a result we’ve come to believe that if modern medicine’s pills and potions don’t work then pain is something we have to put up with as an accepted part of life.

If you’re suffering pain then we would always advise you to seek medical advice to check whether there’s an underlying physical cause and if you haven’t yet seen your GP then you must do so before you’re able to book a treatment with us.

If you’ve seen your GP and there’s no physical cause of the pain you’re suffering, then you’ve come to the right place.

While there might not be a physical or medical reason for the pain you have, there’s always a cause of pain. Drugs like painkillers and anti-inflammatories can ease your suffering, but they may simply mask further degeneration. Other medication can have potentially serious side-effects.

If you look at arthritis for example, there are medicines which can temporarily reduce the inflammation of the joints and ease your suffering. But In most cases, hypnosis can prevent that inflammation and resulting pain much more effectively than tablets and with no negative side effects

Pain is a feeling and, like all feelings, it is subject to change. To change requires a little adjustment to the way we perceive pain and this is done under hypnosis in the subconscious mind. We’ve got a great record of dealing with all manner of conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, migraines, chronic back pain, undiagnosed muscular pain, frozen shoulder and neuropathic pain.

If you no longer want your pain or just want to make it become bearable and not have such an impact on your life then contact Zoe Clews & Associates to talk about how we can help you. We are based in London’s Harley Street. Feel free to get in touch with us today.

Hear it from the clients…

Zoë, I just wanted to let you know that I haven’t had a single migraine since our last visit! I really do think it’s down to you and the targeted work we did on the migraines, combined with the help you gave me get to a better place within myself. I’m so grateful for all the help and support you give. It really does make a huge difference. I am sleeping like a log now too which is wonderful!

I am looking forward to working with you again (though hopefully not too soon, or too strung out!)

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and ME many years ago. The pain, headaches, tiredness and lack of motivation was all to much along with the added stress of work and I simply couldn’t face it for the rest of my life.

Paul explained his reasoning and thoughts on my problem and we got to work. After 3 sessions most of my pain had gone and I was feeling so good! I don’t want to write about the content of the sessions but I am so happy with the results! I can happily play with my children and getting out of bed in the morning no longer feels like a nightmare. In total I had 4 sessions and can honestly say that it’s almost criminal that this service wasn’t available to me on the NHS.

7 years ago I had a car accident which has caused me immense pain in and around my neck. The doctors said I had muscle and ligament damage. I was told I would need stretches daily for the rest of my life, some antidepressants to release the tension and private osteopath treatments which were ongoing which I couldn’t afford. I was having time off work and becoming very low. I had one session of hypnotherapy with Paul after suffering repeated pain from the whiplash injuries. I found the treatment to be very effective and extremely relaxing! Despite seeing a Hypnotherapist before I now know that I wasn’t hypnotised as the feeling of hypnosis with Paul was wonderful! I was able to relax and unwind and this really helped to release the tension in my neck and shoulders for the first time in 7 years!. A very professional therapist and well worth a try, and this is coming from an absolute sceptic!
